Our definition of caregivers has been expanded from the general definition to include not only those in the healthcare professions, but all therapists in the service industries, social workers, mothers, dads, friends, neighbors, volunteers of all sorts and the list continues on.
Conference will include the following:
- Insights from experts in their field, sharing self-care techniques which can be easily applied in daily living;
- A panel discussion and a Q&A session focusing on self-care for the caregiver;
- A Caregiver Marketplace with vendors and professionals, promoting the concept of self-care;
- Nominated Caregivers to be highlighted and recognized;
- Continuing Education Contact Hours;
- The opportunity for caregivers to participate in a monthly self-care group for developmental support, practice of holistic stress relief techniques.
